River Reset: Kayaking for Educator Well-Being

  • TC Paddlesports at Panther Island 480 North Taylor Street Fort Worth, Texas 76102 (map)

Join us for a guided kayaking experience along the Trinity River—no prior kayaking experience required. Designed in partnership with Black Women Who, this event supports educator well-being through time in nature and shared community.

The morning will begin with an overview and instruction from trained guides, who will provide paddling tips, safety guidance, and an introduction to the river ecosystem. The majority of the event will be spent on the water exploring the river and connecting with fellow educators. This experience is designed to refresh and inspire, offering moments of wonder in nature, fuel through movement, and wisdom through reflection and conversation.

The event will close with lunch and a debrief, giving space to reflect on the experience and share insights with fellow participants. All equipment, including kayaks, paddles, and life jackets, will be provided. Lunch will be provided.
