Educating young people is deeply meaningful work, and it can also be mentally and emotionally demanding. When stress becomes constant, it can take a serious toll on educators’ well-being.
Join us on Thursday, February 26th, from 6–8 PM for an in-person learning and conversation experience with Javetta L. Allen, M.Ed., Director of Mental Health Education at the Grant Halliburton Foundation. This evening will include a presentation on educator mental wellness, along with guided table conversations, reflection, and practical strategies educators can use in their day-to-day lives. Together, we’ll explore realistic approaches to managing stress, setting healthy boundaries, and building supportive systems that help sustain educators over time. This is a welcoming space to learn, reflect, and connect with others who understand the work.
Dinner and drinks will be provided.
