We know that the recent school years have been particularly challenging. This event is an opportunity to gather (virtually) with your fellow educators across the metroplex who get it to hear and share stories that will help you reconnect with your passion and purpose as an educator.

What is Narrative4?

Narrative 4 (N4) is a global network of educators, students and artists who use art and storytelling to build empathy between students while equipping them to improve their communities and the world. Using their core methodology, the story exchange, they help students and educators understand that their voices, stories, actions and lives matter, and that they have the power to change, rebuild and revolutionize systems.

What should I expect from the event?

At this event, TEC members will participate in Narrative 4’s signature “story exchange” process among a small group of fellow educators. Participants will be provided with prompts to help them select a story they feel comfortable sharing. Care is taken to ensure that people feel comfortable and supported no matter what story they choose to tell.

TEC’s event will focus on stories that will refocus educators on their purpose and passion in the profession. Resources will also be provided to replicate the process in your classroom for deeper engagement and empathy-building among your students.
