Austin Bennett is a co-founder of The Educator Collective. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Finance. While at UT, Austin served with Austin Partners in Education and provided tutoring for 8th grade math students. Austin is an Associate at Prudential Capital Group in Dallas, Texas. He has been married to his wife, Brooke, since 2012 and has a son, Cole, who was born in 2016. Austin and his family are members of The Village Church Dallas Northway.
Robert Taylor is a co-founder of TEC. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Finance and Plan II Honors. Robert is a member of West Dallas Community School Young Professionals Board of Directors, and was a 2014-2015 Leadership ISD fellow. He also serves on the Trinity Christian Academy Alumni Association Board of Directors, and is a member of The Real Estate Council. Robert is an asset manager at Thackeray Partners in Dallas, TX, where he lives with his wife, Hillary. Robert and Hillary are members of The Village Church.
Director of Operations
Kate Benson is the Director of Operations from The Educator Collective. She attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia, where she studied Biology and Sociology. After graduating, Kate joined Teach For America and moved to Dallas, Texas, where she taught 7th and 8th grade science for two years. In addition to her work with TEC, Kate is currently applying to graduate school in hopes of starting her Master of Public Policy in the fall of 2018.
